Oral Presentation Guidelines
Below are some guidelines to help you prepare your oral presentation.
     
1. Equipment and room setup:
  The conference rooms are set up in both Classroom and theater style seating.
  Each conference room is equipped with a standard audio-visual package that supports electronic presentation.
  The package includes the following items:
    * XGA LCD Projector (1024 x 768 resolution) * Screen * Microphone * Laser Pointer
    * PC should have display output interface with Mini D-sub 15 pin. Please check if your PC has a Mini D-sub 15 pin connector and if not please bring necessary equipments.
     
2. Presentation Preview:
  Presentation Preview is imperative for every presenter.
  Please come to the Presentation Preview Center at least 1 hour before the beginning of your session.
  Technical supports concerning electronic presentation are available there.
  Presenters will need to bring USB, CD-ROM or their own laptops for their presentation.
      If you are a presenter using your own laptop, please make sure you have brought the AC adapter of your PC. Pay attention that the standard power voltage in Japan is 100V. If your AC adapter does not match this power voltage, you will have to bring a voltage inverter with you.
  Please construct your presentation using PowerPoint 2003 or later version.

Sat., October 10 7:30 AM - 15:00 PM
     
3. Presentation Timing:
  Please note that you have 6 minutes to present your paper in a digital format such as PowerPoint®.
  Please do not run over your allotted time.
  Each session will have 1 moderator who will keep the program on time.
  Time is allotted at the end of each presentation for audience questions for 3 minutes.
  The session moderator(s) will facilitate the discussion.
     
4. Presentation:
  Please arrive at the conference room at least 15 minutes before your session begins. Presenters will have to operate their slides by themselves during the presentation, though presentation technical support is available in each conference room.
  When presenting, please speak slowly and clearly so as to make your presentation better understood.
  Be sure to come early to your session. You, or one of your co-authors, MUST be present during the start of the session.
     
Poster Presentation Guidelines
Below are some guidelines to help you prepare your poster presentation.
     
  There are 6 rooms for poster presentation room.
  Please confirm your poster number and room and set up your poster.
   
Preparation    
  Fri., October 9 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Removal    
  Sat., October 10 4:10 PM - 6:00 PM
  Please note that you have 4 minutes to present your poster in your poster room.
  Please do not run over your allotted time.
  Each session will have 1 moderator who will keep the program on time.
  Time is allotted at the end of each presentation for audience questions for 3 minutes.
  The session moderator(s) will facilitate the discussion.
  When presenting, please speak slowly and clearly so as to make your presentation better understood.
